WE NEED YOUR HELP! Our 2025 Newsletter Editor could no longer continue with her publishing duties so we are actively seeking a new volunteer to ensure our publication continues. Enjoy an afternoon and evening filled with live music, entertainment, delicious food, shopping, and family-friendly fun. Bring the whole family (and even your pets!) to experience a vibrant street fair atmosphere alongside an impressive car show. Friday, May 29, 6pm-8pm Family Nite Join us for Family Nite, where imagination soars and curiosity sparks! This recurring evening event features fascinating talks on space related topics with expert speakers stationed in different rooms throughout the museum. Plus, enjoy full access to the museum’s exhibits, open to everyone for this evening. Bring the whole family! JUNE Friday, June 12, 10am-12pm *** IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT *** The Friends Annual Meeting - when we elect our officers for the next year - will take place on June 12 at 10am in the Cormack Room of the Downey City Library. It will be immediately followed by our regular monthly board meeting. All members are encouraged to attend! We have several open positions, so now is the perfect time to get involved! |
