Quartermania 2023
Quartermania is a cross between an auction and an opportunity drawing, where you “bid” quarters to win a prize of goods. Upon arrival, each guest will receive a bidding paddle with an individually assigned number you will use to place your bids. A bid chip matching your numbered paddle will be placed in the “Chip Bucket” held by the auctioneer. Once every guest has their paddle the auction will begin. The auctioneer will then announce an item up for bid and the quarter bid price. Bids will range from 1 to 4 quarters ($0.25-$1.00). If you are interested in the item, you place your bid, hold up your paddle and wait for the auctioneer to call your number. Once all bids are placed the auctioneer will draw the winning chip number and the person with the matching paddle number will win that prize!
