Our mission is to support the Downey City Library through fundraising and volunteerism.
The FODCL is proud to operate the bookstore in the lobby during library hours of operation. This is possible because of our team of dependable volunteers who love being there!
Note: Our monthly Silent Auction program is on hiatus, pending volunteer availability. Contact us if you are interested in helping out!
In the meantime, please come check out the ever-changing selection of Featured Books in our display cases!
We proudly share our love of books by operating our Li'l Libraries throughout town.
The Friends' varied fundraising throughout the year benefit all patrons of the Downey City Library.
